Kubernetes made it practical to schedule and orchestrate application workloads across large fleets. But the datacenter beneath those applications still consists of interconnected compute hosts, storage systems, network interfaces, switches and physical links.
STRATUM applies application-style packaging, deployment and orchestration to that infrastructure layer. It is installed as an application on Linux hosts you already control—not as a mandatory replacement operating system.
